- Hello my name is Guadalupe. My son Jayden is 9 years old and has Severe Hemophilia A & Von Willebrand Type 1. He was diagnosed at the age of 9 months with hemophilia but we didn’t find out about the Von Willebrand until he was around 5 years old. Before we knew about the Von Willebrand he had a lot more bleeds and was covered in bruises. Now his bleeding and bruises are more control and is just like any other 9 year old boy(almost). Watching him grow up with bleeding disorders is hard but he is a little warrior and very strong. He loves nature, the outdoors is a very sweet boy, and is very active.
