Happy New Year to all Hemophilia patients
I am Okasha Al-Qasim from Sudan, a Von patient.
We in Sudan face security problems due to the war and difficulty moving to access treatment because of these security issues, as our center in Khartoum was destroyed. From here, we extend our thanks to all the staff at the National Hemophilia Center in Sudan who made a tremendous effort to establish alternative centers throughout Sudan, and we especially thank Professor Maria Sati, the director of the Hemophilia Center.
Because of the war, I was forced to flee outside Sudan to several countries for two years, after which I returned to complete my university studies.
We were dealing with the symptoms of hemophilia by using ice and cold water for joint bleeding while under siege due to the war.
Thank you very much
