I’m Steve Kitchen, a laboratory scientist from the Sheffield Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre

This is an exciting time for haemophilia, with many new treatment options becoming available. These advances mean laboratory services are more important than ever in ensuring patients receive the right treatment.

Strong communication between healthcare professionals and laboratory teams is essential so that testing methods match the treatments patients receive.
