I am a person living with hemophilia and very low Von Willebrand factor level. Living in a small town in Pakistan, I face serious challenges in accessing proper diagnosis and care. For a long time, my condition was not properly managed. I have experienced repeated bleeding episodes and severe anemia, with hemoglobin dropping to very low levels. Access to safe and appropriate blood components and treatment is limited in my area. Local healthcare facilities often lack awareness and resources for bleeding disorders. Even basic precautions required for hemophilia patients are sometimes not followed, which increases the risk of complications. Due to financial and social difficulties, traveling to major cities for specialized care is not always possible. This makes it very hard to manage my condition safely. I am sharing my story to raise awareness about the importance of proper diagnosis, safe treatment access, and support for people with bleeding disorders in underserved areas. Thank you.
